Cecil and his companions ascend Mt. Hobs to reach the kingdom of Fabul after the destruction of Mist. At the summit, the party rescues Yang, a monk from Fabul, by helping him defeat a group of monsters and the boss Mom Bomb. After the battle, Yang joins the party and guides them down the eastern slope toward Fabul.

Tips
- Rydia must use the Fire spell to melt the wall of ice blocking the mountain path before the party can proceed upward.
- When fighting Mom Bomb, have all characters defend or keep HP high right before she counts down to explode, as the blast hits the entire party for heavy damage.
- After Mom Bomb explodes into smaller bombs, cast multi-target Ice magic or defeat them quickly before they trigger Self-Destruct.
