Joel must advance through a residential suburban street pinned down by a hunter sniper stationed at the end of the road. After sneaking through the houses and gardens to eliminate the sniper, Joel takes over the rifle to cover Ellie, Henry, and Sam as waves of hunters and infected attack them.

Enemies

Hunter Sniper

Weak to Sneaking into his nest and eliminating him at close range

Stationed on the top floor of the house at the end of the road, directing fire down the central path.

Hunters

Weak to Headshots, Molotov cocktails, or high-powered rifle roundsSteal / drop Ammunition

Multiple waves of ground troops advance to flush out Ellie and Henry once Joel takes the sniper position.

Clickers

Weak to Shotgun blasts to the head or high-powered sniper rounds

They charge across the street toward your companions in the final wave, requiring fast target acquisition.

Tips

Avoid moving straight down the main street while the sniper is active; instead, advance through the backyards and interior rooms of the houses on either flank to break line of sight.
Smoke bombs can temporarily blind the sniper's view, giving you safe passage across open gaps between house fences.
When covering the group with the sniper rifle, prioritize enemies who grapple Ellie or Henry first, as their survival gauges will quickly lead to a game over if ignored.
