Boston Quarantine Zone
Set twenty years after the outbreak, Joel wakes up in the military-controlled Boston Quarantine Zone and reunites with his smuggling partner, Tess. Together, they pursue a local black-market dealer named Robert to recover their stolen weapons cache outside the safety of the civilian sector. Their search eventually leads them to Firefly leader Marlene, who tasks them with escorting a young girl named Ellie out of the city.

Tips
- Bricks and bottles scattered around the environment can be thrown to divert infected attention or shattered directly against a foe's face to stun them for an instant melee kill.
- Listen Mode allows Joel to track enemy footsteps through solid walls, making it easier to monitor patrol lines before moving between cover.
