Joel and Ellie reach Salt Lake City and navigate through an abandoned highway and transit station toward the Firefly hospital. Along the way, Ellie spots a herd of wild giraffes before the pair descend into an underground triage and flooded highway tunnel. The area mixes quiet character moments with intense stealth and combat against dense groups of Infected.

Blind but detects sound; fatal if it grabs Joel in melee.

Bloater

Weak to Fire weapons (Molotovs, Flamethrower), high-caliber rifle

Armored and throws spore bombs; two are present in the underground tunnel section.

Tips

Use brick or bottle distractions in the flooded highway tunnel to bunch Bloaters and Clickers together before throwing a Molotov.
You can bypass the entire final Infected cluster in the tunnel using pure stealth by crawling along the right-side wall and buses.

Not listed for this area: shops and people.
