FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster guide · The Al Bhed ship where Tidus is rescued

Tidus is fished out of the ocean by an Al Bhed crew led by Rikku and forced into salvage work under the sea. You explore the deck of the vessel, unlock the Sphere Grid tutorial, and dive to an underwater ruin to power up a sunken airship. After completing the salvage operation and defeating a boss, Sin attacks the vessel and sweeps Tidus away to Besaid.

Tips

Don't forget to grab the Al Bhed Primer Vol. I before speaking with Rikku to dive, as the ship cannot be revisited once you leave.
Rikku's Use command can throw Grenades during battles here, dealing heavy area-of-effect damage to quickly wipe out groups of Piranhas.
