Lake Macalania
Lake Macalania is a frozen region connecting the Macalania Woods to the Macalania Temple, featuring an exterior Rin's Travel Agency. The party battles an Al Bhed assault vehicle outside the agency before crossing the frozen lake surface toward the temple. After events inside the temple, the party flees back onto the ice and plunges beneath the frozen lake surface to escape pursuit.

Tips
- Destroy the Negator drone during the Crawler boss fight to regain access to magic and Aeon overdrives, but prepare for Crawler to use its powerful Mana Beam attack once the drone is gone.
- Cast Darkness or Sleep on the Wendigo boss beneath the ice to neutralize its heavy physical counterattacks.
