Gongaga

FINAL FANTASY VII guide · Visiting the reactor and Aerith's hometown

Gongaga is an optional forest settlement featuring a destroyed Mako Reactor that Cloud's party can explore after crossing the ocean with the buggy. The party runs into the Turks, Reno and Rude, for a boss fight in the jungle path, and can discover lore about Zack Fair by visiting the village and talking to his parents. Exploring the ruined reactor provides valuable Materia, while the village houses weapon and accessory vendors.
