The party visits the Chocobo Farm to find a way past the dangerous Midgar Zolom lurking in the nearby marshlands. Speaking to the owners reveals that riding a wild Chocobo allows you to sprint across the swamp safely. You can purchase the Chocobo Lure Materia here and head to the nearby tracks on the world map to catch one.

Approach the fence outside the stables where the dancing chocobos are penned and talk to them to trigger a dance, which awards you the "Choco/Mog" summon Materia.

Tips

Make sure to equip the Chocobo Lure Materia and carry greens before fighting on world map chocobo tracks, or you will not be able to catch a bird.
Running across the swamp on a Chocobo is the intended way to cross, as trying to run on foot will almost certainly get you caught by the Midgar Zolom.
