Cosmo Canyon
The party visits Cosmo Canyon, the homeland of Red XIII, to repair the broken buggy and learn about the study of Planet life known as Study of Planet Life or Valley of the Fallen Star. Bugenhagen guides the group through the observatory to explain the Lifestream and the fate of the dying Planet before opening the sealed Cave of the Gi. Conquering the cavern reveals the truth behind Red XIII's father, Seto, inspiring Red XIII to continue the journey to save the world.

Tips
- Walk slowly instead of running across the oily patches of floor in the Cave of the Gi to avoid slipping into spiked walls and taking damage.
- Equip the Added Effect Materia paired with an elemental or status Materia to grant either offensive status strikes or defensive status immunities.
