← All areas in this guide
The Checkpoint Rest Town sits on the border dividing the nations of Vermund and Battahl, centered around a heavily guarded gate. Players visit this settlement to find a way past the border crossing into Battahl while engaging with distinct local merchants and questlines. The town also serves as a key travel terminal, hosting an Oxcart station that connects back to Vernworth.

Tips
- If you hold a Beastren Border Entry Permit as a human Arisen, equipping a Beastren Mask fools the gate guards into letting you pass.
- You can bypass the closed border gate entirely by leaping onto the roof of an official carriage while it passes through the gate.
- Ibrahim can create a counterfeit of the Jadeite Orb, allowing you to hand in duplicates to both NPCs pursuing the quest for maximum rewards.
- Forging a counterfeit takes at least one full in-game day; pass the time on a nearby bench to collect the finished piece.
