Bakbattahl is the sprawling, canyon-carved capital city of the nation of Battahl. It serves as the primary quest hub for the southern half of the game, continuing the main storyline regarding the godsway and empress. Players come here to upgrade gear using the specialized Battahli smithing style, unlock advanced vocations, and purchase a permanent residence.

Achievements here

Roost of the DragonTravel southwest through the mountains of Battahl until you arrive at the Dragonsbreath Tower area.

Trickster of the TradeSpeak with the oracle Luz at the Reverent Shrine in Battahl to unlock the Trickster vocation, then change to it.

Dragon ForgedVisit the Dragonforged at the Bay Wayside Shrine (or Seafloor Shrine in the Unmoored World) and enhance any maximum-level weapon using Wyrmslife Crystals.

An Eye for an EyeObtain a Preserved Medusa Head, equip it against a respawned Medusa in the Caliginous Depths, and aim its petrifying gaze at her until she turns to stone (or reflect her petrifying beam back at her using the Daughter of the Evening shield).

The Trickster vocation unlocker, the Dragon's Delusion shrine, is found along the outskirts road southwest of the city, where the spirit-form NPC Luz will grant you the vocation when approached.A secret labor-research facility, the Forbidden Magick Research Lab, can be accessed through the lower underground pathways beneath the palace grounds, guarded by scientists and soldiers.

Tips

Battahli smithing enhances physical strength and defense significantly while adding more weight, making it ideal for physical vocations like Fighter and Warrior.
Make sure to activate the permanent Portcrystal located on the central plaza near the palace entrance as soon as you arrive to make travel easier.
Beastren characters walk freely, but human Arisen need to be cautious until properly integrated or carrying a Beastren Border Entry Permit or wearing a Beastren Mask.
