Lothric Castle

DARK SOULS III guide · After defeating the Lords of Cinder

Lothric Castle is accessed by climbing the ladder behind the altar in the High Wall of Lothric after placing the Basin of Vows. Players must navigate fortified battlements guarded by high-ranking Lothric Knights and wyverns to reach the upper reaches of the castle. Defeating the Dragonslayer Armour at the end of the castle allows access to the Grand Archives.

Weak to FrostSteal / drop Soul of Dragonslayer Armour

The area boss fought on the bridge; assisted by airborne Pilgrim Butterflies casting projectiles.

Tips

Use firebombs or fire-infused weapons against the Pus of Man growths in the dragons' feet to quickly eliminate the wyverns.
Kill the Lothric Priests first before engaging the Lothric Knights to prevent them from constantly healing their allies.
Watch out for projectile barrages from the Pilgrim Butterflies during the Dragonslayer Armour fight, especially in the second phase.
