DARK SOULS III guide · After warping from Firelink Shrine
← All areas in this guide

You arrive at the High Wall of Lothric via the bonfire at Firelink Shrine to begin your journey toward the Lords of Cinder. Navigate through ramparts infested with hollows, petrified pilgrims, and a fire-breathing dragon to unlock shortcuts back to earlier bonfires. Your primary goals are to obtain the Small Lothric Banner from High Priestess Emma and defeat Vordt of the Boreal Valley to gain access to the Undead Settlement.

Shops and people

  • Greirat of the Undead Settlement: Agrees to sell items at Firelink Shrine once unlocked from his cell beneath the Tower on the Wall bonfire.

Tips

  • Shoot the fire-breathing wyvern perched on the ramparts with a bow from below until it reaches low health to force it to fly away, unlocking safe access to the items it guards.
  • Fire damage, such as from Firebombs or a fire-infused weapon, causes the Pus of Man enemies to writhe in pain and temporarily stop attacking.
