Consumed King's Garden

DARK SOULS III guide · After accessing Lothric Castle

Consumed King's Garden is an optional, toxic area located down an elevator shortcut before the Dancer of the Boreal Valley ladder and Lothric Castle. You navigate a toxic swamp filled with corrupted Cathedral Knights and Pus of Man creatures to reach the boss Oceiros. Defeating the boss grants access to an illusory wall that leads to the Untended Graves and the "Path of the Dragon" gesture.

Heavy armored knights wielding greatswords or maces; extremely aggressive and resilient to stagger.

Corvian Thrall

Weak to Fire

Small agile enemies that spit poison darts or drop from high platforms.

Oceiros, the Consumed King

Weak to Lightning, Frost

Area boss who wields sorceries in phase one, then drops his staff to charge wildly on all fours in phase two.

Tips

Equip the Poisonbite Ring and carry plenty of Blooming Purple Moss Clumps, as the sludge on the lower level rapidly inflicts Toxic status.
You can drop down from the elevator early onto a raised balcony to safely eliminate Cathedral Knights using ranged attacks.
Summon sign for Hawkwood the Unconsumed can be found on the central plaza platform before the double Cathedral Knights if you have progressed his quest.
