Filianore's Rest

DARK SOULS III guide · After defeating the boss in The Ringed City

Filianore's Rest is a vast, desolate ash wasteland reached after touching Princess Filianore's broken egg. After defeating the boss Slave Knight Gael, the area is largely cleared, allowing you to finish an optional NPC invasion and retrieve remaining items. You can deliver the boss's soul and key drop back to the painter in the Painted World of Ariandel.

Tips

Take the Blood of the Dark Soul back to the Painter in the attic of the chapel in the Painted World of Ariandel to view unique dialogue and complete the DLC narrative.
