Resident Evil 3 guide · Jill's initial escape through the city

After arriving in Downtown Raccoon City, Jill must navigate the zombie-infested streets to restore power to the subway train at the Substation. This requires gathering key tools like the Bolt Cutters and Fire Hose, putting out a street fire, and setting the train route from the Subway Control Room. Once the power and route are set, Jill must evade Nemesis while returning to the subway station.

Stalks Jill persistently through the streets after the power is restored; downing him temporarily causes him to drop weapon upgrades or ammo.

Tips

Shoot red explosive barrels and sparking electrical generators when groups of zombies or Nemesis are nearby to save ammunition.
Practice the Perfect Dodge mechanic on regular zombies early on, as executing it gives Jill a brief window of bullet time to land critical headshots.
Always carry a Hand Grenade once Nemesis starts pursuing you through the streets, as a single well-placed grenade will instantly stagger him and cause him to drop a Supply Crate.
