Barrier Tower
In Galuf's World, the party infiltrates this defensive spire via King Xezat's submarine to shatter the protective field around Castle Exdeath. Bartz, Galuf, Lenna, and Faris ascend the mechanical tower toward the antenna on the roof while Xezat heads downward to neutralize the power generator. After confronting Atomos atop the structure, the tower collapses permanently, making it a strictly one-time dungeon.

Key fights
Enemies: Atomos
Threats: Attacks standing targets with single-target Comet; once an ally falls, it ceases Comet to slowly drag the unconscious body toward its mouth, permanently removing them from battle if absorbed
Weaknesses and resistances: No elemental weaknesses; immune to most debuffs but vulnerable to Sleep and Slow
Tactics: Put the boss to sleep using the Sleep spell or a Sleep Sword, or cast Slow and exploit heavy single-target physical hits or Dark Arts without attacking physically to avoid waking it; alternatively, keep one fallen party member in the back row to monopolize the dragging action while the other three deal rapid damage
Rewards: Guaranteed drop: Dark Matter
