Town of Karnak

FINAL FANTASY V guide · Town where the party is mistaken for spies and arrested

The Town of Karnak is a fortified settlement powered by the nearby Fire Crystal, where equipment prices initially appear heavily discounted. Attempting to buy gear from either the weapon or armor shop immediately causes local guards to brand the party as spies emerging from the meteorite and toss them into the dungeons of Karnak Castle. After escaping the castle and completing the Fire-Powered Ship, the party returns here to buy magic and later meet Cid in the local pub.
