Empycchu is an isolated, cliff-ringed village reachable by following the glowing sea route from the Illuminated Sea Chart into the canyon reef. Visiting the village chief teaches the party about the godbird Empyrea and how her ground-bound shadow can open a gateway between dimensions. Tracking the moving silhouette across the plateau eventually leads the group to a tear in the sky that pulls them into the World of Darkness.
