The party travels to Castle Ascantha to meet King Pavan, discovering the entire castle and kingdom trapped in deep mourning for deceased Queen Sasha. To lift the monarch's despair, the party consults the maid Emma, receives advice regarding Wisher's Peak, and brings the mysterious harpist Ishmahri to grant the king a final encounter with Sasha's memory. Once King Pavan's spirits are lifted and the mourning officially concludes, the grateful king pledges his aid for the party's future travels.

Tips

If you visit King Pavan during the daytime and he is not receptive, return to the throne room at night when he sits alone to initiate dialogue and trigger Emma's cutscene on the stairway.
