When Crono first arrives at Guardia Castle in 600 A.D., Queen Leene steps in to grant him entry past the gate guards. Crono can explore the castle grounds, kitchen, and barracks before meeting the queen in her chambers, where she reveals herself to be Marle right before vanishing due to a time paradox. Crono must then head back toward the exit to reunite with Lucca and set out to rescue the real queen.
