The short version

What matters

  • •Sweep every room, safe, and rooftop drop for rare crafting materials, armor, and weapons before confronting Joon-gi Han.
  • •Keep Saeko in the Idol job and carry abundant healing and poison-curing items to withstand Han's Divine Shot and status effects.
  • •Exploit blunt knockdown attacks, attack debuffs, and lightning elemental damage against Joon-gi Han to exploit his key vulnerabilities.

Common mistakes

  • •Rushing into the hideout under-leveled or under-geared; make sure your party sits around Level 20–23 and buy supplies before telling the pink-haired woman you are ready.
  • •Relying on Nanba to act as your primary healer or offensive caster for the chapter boss; he temporarily leaves your squad right before the Joon-gi Han fight starts.
  • •Walking straight past the stairs near the rooftop power cables without dropping down the right-hand gap, locking you out of the Raw Sapphire Ore and other ledge supplies.

What you can skip

  • •You can safely avoid wasting expensive single-target skills on early Geomijul grunts by relying entirely on Ichiban's Mega Swing and Nanba's fire breath.

Walkthrough

The area in the order you play it. Tick things off as you go: they tick off in the checklists below too.

  1. 1

    Approaching the Alleyway Entrance

Once the ceasefire with Tianyou Zhao is settled, head to Koreatown and track down the pink-haired guide waiting in Hyakukei Alley. Before telling her "I'm ready" to step inside, loot the silver safe positioned directly east of her position.

Tip: Select "Not yet" if you need extra time to stock up on battle items or grind levels across Ijincho before locking yourself in.

Watch out: The hideout interior is a one-time dungeon, and answering "I'm ready" starts a sequence that permanently cuts off return access after completion.

  2. 2

    Clearing the First Floor Ambush

Enter the building's locked ground floor to battle two straight waves of Geomijul combatants, including Kim, Ko, Moon, Song, and Park. Check the northwest corner of the ambush room for a floor shine, search near the blocked east exit, and grab the briefcase along the south wall. Before heading upstairs, walk down the hallway to grab another loose drop and pop open the safe situated at the southern dead end.

Key fight: Geomijul Brawlers (Interior Waves)

Tip: Hit the lower-level grunts with area skills like Nanba's Pyro Breath or Ichiban's Mega Swing to burn their blade and fire weaknesses before focusing down Kim.

  3. 3

Ascending the Second Floor and Upper Landing

Fight through the patrol blocking the upper rooms, scouring the stairs and shelves along the way. Loot the briefcase on the south wall, open the briefcase against the north wall, and crack the silver safe in the second-floor chambers. Continue along the upper landing to collect the loose cloth and water pickups before heading out toward the exterior.

Watch out: Do not leave the floor before grabbing all shelf and stair shines, as you cannot re-enter these apartment rooms later.

  4. 4

    Navigating Rooftops and Secret Drops

Head outside toward the rooftops to navigate past fallen wooden planks and barricades marked by a green traffic cone. Walk toward the open gap on the right-hand side of the stairs and deliberately drop down to a secluded ledge below to collect several valuable items. Climb back up, clear the barricade zone of its scattered supplies, take the drink resting over the barrels, and crack open the corner safe before balancing across the overhead electric power cables.

Watch out: Falling down the right side of the staircase onto the drop-off ledge is easily bypassed if you rush straight over the power cables.

  5. 5

    Spotting the Rooftop Ambush

After traversing the heavy power wires, switch into the Active Search reticle mechanic to pinpoint 6 concealed Geomijul sentries hiding across the rooftop perimeters. Flagging every sniper eliminates their surprise advantage, allowing your team to decisively defeat the remaining skirmishers.

Key fight: The 6 Ambushers (Rooftop Wire Crossing)

Tip: Carefully scan vertical perimeters and high vantage points with your reticle to tag all six snipers quickly.

Watch out: Failing to spot all six ambushers with the reticle will leave your party exposed to their sniper fire during the skirmish.

  6. 6

    Infiltrating the Printing Facility

Advance through the inner corridor, push through the final defensive perimeter, and approach the heavy double doors leading to Seong-hui's chamber. Elect to proceed inside to view the cutscene exposing the Ijin Three's secret counterfeit yen printing presses and Mabuchi's treachery. Nanba immediately leaves your party lineup during this scene, forcing you straight into a duel against Joon-gi Han.

Key fight: Boss: Joon-gi Han (Level 23)

Tip: Assign Saeko to the Idol job to keep the party healthy, use Adachi to soak damage, and have Ichiban cast Brave Command while hitting Han with blunt knockdowns and electric skills.

Watch out: Han hits hard with unblockable Divine Shot attacks, rapid critical strikes, and poison; enter this confrontation with poison-curing supplies since Nanba is unavailable.

  7. 7

    Escaping to the Homeless Camp

Following Joon-gi Han's defeat, fight your way through the final wave of escaping Geomijul enforcers pursuing you out of the facility. Break clean of the complex and retreat south to the Commercial District's riverbed homeless camp to regroup.

Watch out: Leaving the hideout seals the entire facility permanently, barring access to any left-behind loot.
