Surviving the Fallout

Regain party control at Survive Bar in the Bar District following Masumi Arakawa's death, where you will take a phone call from Chairman Ryuhei Hoshino. Next, head over to Heian Tower in Chinatown to discuss Aoki's political moves and receive your returned ¥3,000,000 deposit from Hoshino. Before proceeding into town, you can head to Hamakita Park to find the mascot vendor Kamulop.

Speaking to Kamulop at Hamakita Park after speaking to Hoshino unlocks the ability to buy Dojima Daigo and Watase Masaru for 50 Tojo Clan Crests each.

Tip: Trade 50 Tojo Clan Crests each to Kamulop to unlock the high-tier Poundmates Dojima Daigo and Watase Masaru.

The Ambush on Isezaki Road

Make your way to the north end of Isezaki Road to confront Sota Kume at his Bleach Japan campaign rally. This triggers a brawl against Hattori and five Tokyo Omi Alliance henchmen who ambush your crew. Once the area is cleared, head straight toward Carriage Highway.
Key fight: Ambush at Isezaki Road
Tip: Wipe out this dense group quickly using large Fire and Electric AoE attacks like Fulminating Forecast or Nanba's Essence of Pyro Prison.

Official Candidacy Registration

Enter the Election Administration Office on Carriage Highway and speak with the Election Administration Office Staff to register Kasuga as an official independent candidate. Hand over the full ¥3,000,000 registration deposit that Hoshino returned to you. Once officially registered, make your way back to the Bar District to sleep through the night at Survive Bar.

Tip: Hand the ¥3,000,000 deposit over right away to continue the story smoothly.

Watch out: Do not spend your ¥3,000,000 on gear before registering, or story progression will be blocked until you earn the full sum back.

The Campaign Trail and Station Clash

Step outside Survive Bar to speak with Seiryu Clan Captain Mamoru Takabe, inspect your new campaign sound truck, and set off. After your political speech standoff against Kume at Hamakita Park, head to the plaza at the north side of Jinnai Station to intercept his next rally. There, you will battle six Tokyo Omi Alliance defenders blocking your path.
Key fight: Jinnai Station Clashing Guards
Tip: Exploit the guards' weaknesses to Fire, Blade, and crowd-control AoE attacks to clear the plaza fast.

Breach the Seiryu Clan Headquarters

Rush to the Seiryu Clan Headquarters to halt the assassination plot targeting Chairman Hoshino. Upon arriving, you must fight your way through six Tokyo Omi Alliance members guarding the courtyard before pushing inside to confront the chapter boss, Jo Sawashiro.
Key fight: Seiryu Clan HQ Courtyard Key fight: Jo Sawashiro
Tip: Activate Kasuga's Peerless Resolve early, use Saeko as an Idol to heal Bleed, target Sawashiro's Blade and Electric weaknesses, and burst down his final 20% HP with Poundmates or Essence skills to overcome his 1,000 HP per turn healing.

Watch out: Cease direct attacks during Sawashiro's cane sword phase when he enters his counter-stance aura, and ensure you enter the inner room with high HP and MP after clearing the courtyard guards.

Jo Sawashiro

Enemies: Jo Sawashiro (Lv. 53)

Threats: Wide-slashing sword strikes inflicting Bleed across multiple targets; extreme piercing damage and counter-stance in Cane/Stiletto phase; acts up to twice per turn in Dual Blade phase; heals 1,000 HP per turn under 20% HP

Weaknesses and resistances: Blade / Knife and Electric

Tactics: Use Kasuga's Peerless Resolve early to safeguard against burst downs. Stop attacking directly when he unleashes his battle aura during the cane sword phase. Apply heavy single-target Electric and Knife damage via Joon-gi Han, Zhao, Host/Idol, or Fortuneteller's Fulminating Forecast. Keep Saeko as Idol to heal party and cure Bleed. Burst through his final 20% health window with high-tier Poundmates or Essence abilities to out-damage his 1,000 HP regeneration.
