Attend Nonomiya's Funeral and Head North
Following Chapter 4's finale at the funeral home near Otohime Land in the Red Light District, attend Nonomiya's service alongside Nanba and Adachi, where Saeko Mukoda approaches and joins your active party as a Barmaid. Journey north toward Restaurant Row, stopping near the highway by the Seagull Cinema strip to engage three Level 15 street thugs named Sugawara, Asada, and Masuda. Overcoming them triggers the mandatory Substory 12 (How to be a Part-time Hero) and pits you against Hiro's Level 15 Masked Man representative.
Key fight: Menacing Men Key fight: Mysterious Masked Man Guy (Part-time Hero Rep)Tip: Nanba's fire or pigeon magic easily handles the Masked Man when he guards, and knocking him down guarantees critical hits while he is prone.

Interrogate Restaurant Row and Ambush
Proceed into Restaurant Row to seek out and question three marked NPCs along the narrow alleyways. While hunting for leads on Zheng, six Level 14 Yokohama Liumang thugs ambush your group in the alleys. Clear the ambushers to pinpoint your target's whereabouts at the Lin Lin Hostess Bar.
Key fight: Restaurant Row Liumang AmbushTip: Nanba's Pyro Belch quickly sweeps through the tightly grouped Yokohama Liumang thugs who are weak to fire.
Watch out: Saeko and Nanba have lower physical defense, so focus down enemies individually to keep your team from being swarmed.

Stake Out Lin Lin Hostess Bar and Visit Romance Workshop
Reach the Lin Lin Hostess Bar on Restaurant Row, where Saeko temporarily departs from your party to infiltrate the venue in a hostess disguise. To pass the time, head over to Romance Street to start Substory 13 (Nowhere to Go But Up) and meet the blacksmith Sumire Sawa at Romance Workshop. Wait for Saeko's phone call after inspecting the workshop and learning how weapon upgrades function.
Tip: Keep starter gear like the Self-Proclaimed Hero's Bat, Rugged Cane, and Carbon Police Baton, as Romance Workshop can upgrade them across tiers into top-tier and EX versions.

Confront Zheng and Flee Restaurant Row
Return to Lin Lin Hostess Bar upon receiving Saeko's call, rejoin her, and confront Zheng alongside his escorts inside. After defeating Zheng and discovering the existence of the Yokohama Trading Company, make your escape by traveling north and west along Isezaki Road toward Otohime Land while avoiding or battling patrolling Kung Fu Disciples and Pressured Cookers. Regroup safely back at your headquarters in the Red Light District.
Key fight: Lin Lin Hostess Bar - Zheng Rematch Key fight: Escape from Restaurant RowTip: Use Adachi to pull aggro from Zheng, weaken Zheng's attack power with Saeko's debuffs, and burn him down using fire attacks.

Change Jobs and Unlock Business Management
Head to Hello Work the following morning to meet Kanbe for a cover story, then speak with Ririka to unlock the Job Change System, letting party members freely switch between roles like Hero, Host, Enforcer, Barmaid, or Idol. Next, locate Eri Kamataki near Ichiban Confections to unlock the Business Management minigame. Board the train at the Jinnai Station Terminal to complete your scheduled daytime shift before heading back to Otohime Land to draft an overnight infiltration plan.
Tip: Changing roles at Ririka's counter lets you adjust your team's elemental coverage and stat profiles whenever you visit Hello Work.

Infiltrate the Yokohama Trading Company
Travel past Hamakita Park to reach the Yokohama Trading Company warehouse area and initiate your night raid. Search every office corner, break open wooden crates, and unlock ground safes for valuable supplies prior to entering the main office. Once inside, overcome two consecutive waves of Level 17 guards and Liumang mercenaries to uncover Mabuchi's counterfeit banknote printing operation and finish Chapter 5.
Key fight: Yokohama Trading Company Warehouse FinaleTip: Arrive with maxed MP and exploit the warehouse guards' fire weakness using Nanba's Pyro Belch or Romance Workshop fire-elemental weapons.
Watch out: Triggering the final cutscene with Mabuchi's counterfeiting operation locks you out of collecting the warehouse's ground items, safes, and crate materials.
