March: True Ending

Persona 4 Golden guide · Farewell rounds and the final dungeon

On March 20th, the protagonist must say farewell to all maxed Social Links across Inaba before leaving town. Instead of returning home to trigger the standard ending, you must investigate the origin of the Midnight Channel to unlock the path to the true final dungeon, Yomotsu Hirasaka. Completing this dungeon and defeating the mastermind will secure the True Ending (and the Golden Epilogue, if prerequisite conditions were met).

March 20 | Complete all farewell visits and conquer the Yomotsu Hirasaka dungeon in a single day, as it is the final playable day of the game.

Gas Station Attendant's True Identity | Speaking to the attendant at the Moel Gas Station in South Central Shopping District after acquiring the Clarity Orb reveals them as Izanami, opening the portal to Yomotsu Hirasaka.

Enemies

Izanami

The first phase of the final boss; inflicts heavy elemental damage and must be reduced to zero HP before transitioning into her true form.

Izanami-no-Okami

The true final boss; immune to status ailments, uses Thousand Curses, and requires surviving scripted attacks before the protagonist awakens Izanagi-no-Okami.

Daidara Metalworks: Final tier weapons, armor, and accessories forged from materials gathered across previous dungeons and Yomotsu Hirasaka.

Tips

Stock up on SP restoration items and bring Persona builds with Debilitate, Heat Riser, and high-tier healing, as March 20th gives you no opportunity to leave and restock once inside the final dungeon.
