Magatsu Inaba is unlocked in December after identifying the true culprit behind the Inaba murders. Navigating the distorted town eventually drops you into the deeper, multi-floor dungeon called Magatsu Mandala. Clearing this entire complex brings an end to the killer's reign and advances the story into the late-game period.

Christmas Eve Event | Clear the dungeon on or before December 22 so time skips forward to December 23/24 properly, allowing you to spend Christmas Eve with a maxed romantic Social Link.Jester / Hunger Social Link completion | If Tohru Adachi's Social Link reached Rank 8, you must choose to confront him alone when prompted after identifying the culprit, which converts the link to the Hunger arcana and allows it to progress to Rank 9 upon his defeat.

Deadlines

December 24 | Complete Magatsu Inaba and defeat the boss at the end of Magatsu Mandala; clearing it by December 22 is optimal if you want to experience the Christmas Eve event.

Accessing Magatsu Mandala | Reaching the pit in Magatsu Inaba World 2 forces you into Magatsu Mandala; you cannot bypass the mid-bosses on Mandala Floor 3 and Floor 6 if you want to remove the barriers blocking the path to the end.

Tips

Be aware that clearing this dungeon immediately skips the calendar forward to December 23, causing you to lose all remaining free daytime and evening slots in December.
Bring items or skills that cure Fear and Mudoon, as many shadows in Magatsu Mandala use ailments and instant-kill Darkness attacks to catch you off guard.
Conserve SP on the way down by utilizing physical Persona skills or stocking up on SP-recovery drinks from the Central Shopping District vending machines beforehand.
