Yamantau Bunker

Artyom and the crew arrive at Mount Yamantau hoping to reunite with the remnants of the Russian government, only to discover the personnel have descended into cannibalism. After being trapped, Artyom must fight his way through butcher rooms, barracks, and corridors to rescue Anna and escape with Miller. The mission is purely combat-driven, requiring you to clear out swarms of cannibals and a heavy mini-boss.

Lightly armored human enemies that swarm in groups, often wielding melee weapons, scrap pistols, or throwing axes

Heavy Cannibal (Gatling Gunner)

Weak to Head (shoot off helmet first) or explosivesSteal / drop Minigun (Gatling gun)

Serves as a mini-boss in the final room before rescuing Anna; moves slowly behind a riot shield and heavy plate armor

Tips

Save your grenades and Molotov cocktails specifically for the heavy Gatling gunner at the end of the bunker to break through his armor quickly.
Cannibals often rush in straight lines down narrow corridors, making a shotgun with an extended barrel or magazine extremely effective.
Scavenge every fallen cannibal immediately during quiet lulls, as this chapter severely drains your shotgun and assault rifle ammunition.
