The Bridge is the climactic mission area of the Volga chapter, serving as the heavily guarded stronghold of Father Silantius and the Church of the Water Tsar. Artyom must infiltrate the multi-level structure with Duke and navigate to the control room at the top to lower the bridge for the Aurora. Completing the area without killing any bridge cultists is required to secure the good outcome for Duke and advance the good ending of the game.

Surrenders easily if you eliminate or subdue nearby allies; killing them awards negative moral points and endangers Duke.
Tips
- Approaching the bridge at night makes it significantly easier to bypass or non-lethally neutralize the guards patrolling the narrow catwalks.
- You can use the exterior hanging planks, maintenance ladders, and boats tied below the structure to bypass heavily populated corridors entirely.
- Do not fire your weapon on Silantius when you reach the final chamber; holster your weapon and trigger the cutscene to preserve Duke's survival.
- Extinguish lanterns and light bulbs along the catwalks to stay concealed in shadows while sneaking through the cultist sleeping quarters.
