Cloud, Barret, and Tifa prepare to infiltrate Shinra Electric Power Company headquarters by scaling the collapsed plate wall. Before departing, Cloud can freely explore the Sector 5 Slums, Sector 6 Slums, and the Sewers to resolve lingering requests and prepare supplies. The chapter concludes when the party uses the grappling-gun equipment to ascend the wall above the ruins.

Type-0 Behemoth

Weak to Ice

Fought during the "Subterranean Menace" side quest in the underground lab; separate targets exist for upper and lower body parts, and it casts a devastating counter upon death.

Abzu

Weak to Fire

Fought a second time in the sewers accompanied by Abzu Shoats; highly susceptible to Fire magic attacks.

Sector 5 Slums Weapons Shop: Sells the Big Horns weapon for Barret, along with standard consumables and gear.
Chocobo Sam's Delivery Service (Fast Travel): Offers fast travel via Chocobo carriage between stable stops across the Slums after finishing the "Chocobo Search" side quest.

Tips

Complete the "Chocobo Search" side quest early in the chapter to unlock free Chocobo carriage travel between major slum hubs, saving significant travel time.
Equip Subversion Materia or warding equipment to resist instant death when tracking down the Tonberry in the Sector 5 Colosseum arena side quest.
