Spectacle Island
Spectacle Island is a massive, water-isolated settlement location inhabited by swarms of Mirelurks. To claim the workbench, you must restore power by flipping a breaker in a derelict tugboat and then activating a sonic transmitter in the metal shack near the radio tower. Activating the boat generator provokes high-level Mirelurks, including a Mirelurk Queen, while the transmitter drives them away.

Tips
- Prepare for high radiation exposure while swimming out to the island by using a Hazmat Suit, Power Armor, or the Aquaboy/Aquagirl perk.
- Follow the overhead power lines on poles from the tugboat generator directly to the radio shack to easily navigate without getting lost.
- Flipping the switch inside the metal radio shack immediately causes remaining Mirelurks to flee in panic due to the high-frequency sound, making combat unnecessary if you can sprint inside and activate it quickly.
