Red Rocket Truck Stop

Fallout 4 guide · meeting Dogmeat on the road

The Red Rocket Truck Stop is located just southeast of Sanctuary Hills along the main road. It serves as an early-game player settlement where you encounter the companion Dogmeat and gain access to a full suite of crafting stations. Shortly after arriving and greeting the dog, you must defend the station from a small pack of mole rats that tunnel out of the ground.

Tips

The station features all basic crafting stations—Weapons Workbench, Armor Workbench, Chemistry Station, Cooking Station, and Power Armor Station—making it an ideal early base.
Activating the settlement workshop lets you scrap the scattered clutter, vehicles, and trash around the lot for plenty of early building materials like steel, wood, and rubber.
