The Warden descends past the Orzammar gates into the vast subterranean ruins of the Deep Roads in search of Branka and the Anvil of the Void. Navigating through multiple distinct sectors—including the Aeducan Thaig, Caridin's Cross, Ortan Thaig, and the Dead Trenches—the party must fight through massive Darkspawn hordes and salvage ancient dwarven relics. The expedition culminates in deciding the fate of the Anvil alongside Paragon Caridin or Branka, determining the next King of Orzammar.

Tips

Carry abundant Lyrium Potions and Health Poultices before entering, as the Deep Roads spans several long areas with very limited vendor options.
Bring Wynne or a dedicated spirit healer to continually cleanse party members of lingering Darkspawn curse effects and sustained poison.
Target the Broodmother's tentacles first to stop them from grabbing and suffocating your frontline warriors.
During the battle at the Anvil of the Void, interact with the Lyrium nodes scattered around the arena to instantly replenish your resources and deny bosses the ability to absorb them.
