The Gargoyle's Maze is an obstacle-filled outdoor labyrinth located on the southeastern part of Fort Joy island. Navigating the maze involves unlocking gated sections using glowing skull keys, solving pressure plate puzzles, and interacting with cursed historical remnants. Reaching the central tower at the end completes the labyrinth and grants access to Braccus Rex's hidden sanctuary.

Showing the Band of Braccus to the Gargoyle head at the labyrinth entrance bypasses the entire maze and teleports you directly to the tower steps.Using teleportation or movement skills like Tactical Retreat allows your party to bypass locked gates without consuming any Crumbling Skulls.Interacting with the central Gargoyle statue with all unused Crumbling Skulls remaining in your inventory yields a higher-tier reward choice.The Historian trapped in cursed hellfire in the maze courtyard can only be extinguished by blessing blood puddles created beneath him.

Resists fire damage and attempts to ignite the party on oil surfaces.

Tips

Use Rain skills to extinguish surfaces before moving through courtyards to prevent accumulating continuous burn damage.
Keep non-essential party members unchained and parked outside hazards to avoid triggering unwanted pressure plates or traps.
You do not need to fight every group of enemies in the maze; movement skills allow you to grab the skulls and reposition safely.
