Nero arrives in Red Grave City via the broken highway to confront the demon infestation spawned by the Qliphoth tree. The player navigates forward across the damaged bridge while learning Nero's basic attacks, mobility, and Devil Breaker mechanics. The mission concludes with a boss battle against the Qliphoth Roots at the end of the elevated road.

Red Empusa

Non-aggressive insect demon with a large red abdomen that tries to flee; yields large amounts of Red Orbs when attacked quickly.

Qliphoth Roots

Stationary tentacle boss attached to the bridge structure that attacks by sweeping and slamming its appendages.

Tips

Practice timing the Exceed system by revving the Red Queen immediately after attacks to gain free damage boosts during regular encounters.
Attack the Red Empusa immediately with high-damage combos before it burrows away, as defeating it rewards a massive payout of Red Orbs.
