The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess guide · Beginning of the game

Ordon Village is Link's peaceful hometown where the adventure begins through a series of tutorial tasks and errands for the villagers. Link must help recover a baby cradle, catch a fish to feed a cat, acquire his first equipment, and herd goats before the village is attacked by monsters. After events plunge the area into danger, Link must later return to gather a sword and shield in Wolf form to proceed.

Tips

You can use Hawk Grass to summon a hawk to knock down a bee hive, collect the honey, or retrieve the floating baby cradle from the river.
As Wolf Link sneaking into the village, use Midna's jumps and follow scent trails while digging under fences to avoid the villagers who will attack you on sight.
When herding goats at the Ordon Ranch, shout with the A button while riding Epona to direct them into the barn efficiently.
