The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess guide · Searching for the children

Link arrives at Kakariko Village in wolf form under the cover of the Twilight realm while tracking the scent of the abducted Ordon children. You must defeat Shadow Beasts to open warp portals and locate the spirits of the children sheltering inside the village Sanctuary. After speaking with the spirits and the shaman Renado, you must collect the Tears of Light across the village to restore the light to the Eldin Province.

Hanging from ceilings or flying inside dark buildings

Tips

Use Wolf Link's senses outside the Sanctuary window to listen to the spirits of Colin, Talo, Malo, and Beth talking with Renado.
Burning wooden boards and roofs with lit torches or fiery sticks is required to flush out Shadow Insects hiding inside closed-up houses.
Use the Dash jump mechanics with Midna on rooftops to access the upper sections of abandoned buildings.
