Link heads into Faron Woods to find a lost monkey and rescue his kidnapped childhood friend, Talo. Navigating through dark, misty pathways and a foggy cave requires obtaining and using a lantern. The sequence ends when Link cuts through a wooden cage to free Talo and the monkey at an enemy camp.

Tips

Use the lantern flame to burn through thick spiderwebs blocking doorways inside the cave.
Keep an eye on the lantern fuel gauge; turn it off when you are not in pitch-black areas or burning webs to conserve oil.
