Thorned Fairy Island is an island surrounded and blocked by giant brambles and vines in the Great Sea. Link must use a weapon to cut down the thorns blocking the central hole to access the Great Fairy's fountain inside. Visiting this island allows Link to gain an expansion for his carrying capacity.

- Great Fairy: increases arrow-carrying capacity from 30 to 60 (or up to 99 depending on visit order)
Tips
- Use the Skull Hammer to smash the wooden stakes on the island, which lowers the thorny vines barring access to the central shell entrance.
- Use the Deku Leaf to float across the gaps over the thorn barriers if you want to bypass climbing around them.
