Headstone Island is a rocky island located in sector C7 that houses the entrance to the Earth Temple. Link must use the Power Bracelets to lift the giant stone head blocking the dungeon doorway and later use the Mirror Shield's light reflection to enter the temple interior. Laruto, the former Earth Sage, also appears as a spirit here to teach Link the Earth God's Lyric.

Control a Seagull with a Hyoi Pear and fly to the highest peak of the island to activate a switch that disables the ring of blue flames surrounding a treasure chest on the beach.

Kargarok

Weak to Boomerang or Bow

Circle the skies and perch atop the high rock peaks, frequently attacking the Seagull if you take control of one.

Shops and people

Fishman: Provides hints about the giant stone face and the Earth Temple in exchange for All-Purpose Bait.

Tips

Shoot down the Kargaroks perched on the high stone spires with arrows before using a Hyoi Pear, or they will attack the Seagull while you try to hit the summit switch.
You must acquire the Power Bracelets from Fire Mountain before you can lift the large stone head and enter the island's interior.
