Outset Island is Link's peaceful home island where his journey begins on his birthday. After receiving his green clothes, Link must obtain a sword to rescue a girl who fell into the island's forest, triggering an event where his sister Aryll is kidnapped by a giant bird. To leave the island and rescue her, Link joins the pirate crew led by Tetra.

Tips

Catching the stray pigs roaming around the island for the resident woman rewards Link with Rupees.
Practice side-hops, backflips, and parry attacks with Orca before heading into the forest to get used to the sword combat mechanics.
