The Moon

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask guide · The final area and dungeon of the game.
← All areas in this guide

The Moon is the surreal final destination accessed after summoning the Four Giants atop the Clock Tower on the Final Day. Inside, Link arrives at a peaceful, grassy field centered around a large tree where children wearing the masks of the dungeon bosses run around. By speaking to these children, Link can tackle four optional mini-dungeons, or he can talk to the child wearing Majora's Mask under the tree to begin the final battle.

Tips

  • You must have collected all 20 normal masks across Termina to trade with the running children if you want to obtain the Fierce Deity's Mask.
  • Equipping the Fierce Deity's Mask during the final encounter allows Link to transform into Fierce Deity Link, shooting powerful sword beams that trivialize all three phases of Majora.
  • If playing through without the Fierce Deity's Mask, bring multiple bottles of Chateau Romani to maintain infinite magic for Light Arrows and the Goron roll.
