Snowhead Temple

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask guide · After learning the Goron Lullaby
← All areas in this guide

After playing the Goron Lullaby to put Biggoron to sleep, Link ascends the blizzard-swept path to enter Snowhead Temple. Inside, Link must manipulate a giant central pillar, melt ice blocking pathways, and use Goron rolling across precarious platforms to reach the mechanical boss. Defeating the boss clears the freezing curse over the mountain, bringing spring to the Snowhead region.

Tips

  • Use the Goron Mask's punch to knock out the colored cylindrical segments of the central pillar to alter its height across different floors.
  • The Great Fairy Mask is vital here because its hair will shimmer if a Stray Fairy is in the room, and it pulls floating fairies directly to you.
  • In the Goht battle, use Goron rolling to match the boss's speed and crash into it once your spikes emerge, but watch out for stalactites and bombs dropped in the track.
