Swamp Palace

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past guide · Second Dark World dungeon
← All areas in this guide

The Swamp Palace is the second dungeon of the Dark World, entered only after using the Magic Mirror and Flippers to drain and flood the floodgates in the Light World's Sunken Temple. Link must manipulate water levels inside the palace to access submerged rooms, solve puzzles, and uncover sunken keys. Navigating the flooded corridors leads to the boss Arrghus, whose defeat rescues the second rescued maiden.

Tips

  • Use the Hookshot on skulls, pots, and chests across wide gaps to pull yourself over deep water or spiked floors.
