The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past guide · Final confrontation with Ganon

After defeating Agahnim in the Dark World's Tower of Ganon, Ganon transforms into a bat and crashes through the top of the Pyramid of Power. Link drops into the large hole to enter the final arena and confront Ganon to save the Dark World and Hyrule. Defeating Ganon reveals the entrance to the inner chamber where the Triforce awaits.

Cracked wall on the lower tier of the Pyramid of Power; blast it open using a Super Bomb to reveal the Mysterious Pond where the Great Fairy upgrades the Bow to the Silver Bow and the Tempered Sword to the Golden Sword.

Enemies

Ganon

Weak to Silver Arrows, Master Sword, Fire Rod

Attacks with a spinning trident, summoning flaming bats, and extinguishing the room's torches during his final phase.

Tips

Keep the two torches at the bottom of the arena lit using the Fire Rod or Lamp to make Ganon vulnerable to sword strikes in the dark phase.
When Ganon is stunned and turns blue from a sword slash during the final phase, quickly shoot him with a Silver Arrow to damage him.
Avoid falling off the edges of the platform, as dropping down forces you to restart the battle from the beginning.
