The Lost Woods is a foggy forest maze located in the northwestern region of the Light World. Link must navigate through hollow tree trunks to locate the clearing with the Pedestal of the Master Sword. Once all three Pendants of Virtue are collected, Link can pull the legendary Master Sword from its pedestal to break Agahnim's seal on Hyrule Castle.

Thieves' Hideout: Enter a hollow tree stump near the south-central area to find a room with chests containing Red Rupees and a passage to an entrance outside.Fake Swords: Several decoys of the Master Sword sit on pedestals throughout the woods, which turn into harmless wooden cutouts when approached.

Perches in trees and swoops aggressively toward Link when he approaches.

Thief

Bumps into Link to knock away and steal Rupees, Bombs, and Arrows before picking them up.

Blue Kodondo

Weak to Sword

Small lizard-like creatures that crawl around the forest floor.

Red Kodondo

Weak to Sword

Breathes short bursts of flame in front of itself before turning.

Tips

Bring the Mushroom found in the woods to the Witch outside the Magic Shop to unlock Magic Powder.
Equip the Pegasus Boots to sprint through the thieves and avoid having items or Rupees knocked away.
