← All areas in this guide

Accessed by offering the Father's Bell Charm to the Buddha statue at the Dilapidated Temple, this memory presents an alternate, shortened version of the burning estate starting near the burning courtyard. Wolf must battle through Ministry assassins, bandits, and rematches with formidable opponents to reach the Hirata Audience Chamber. Key fights

Lone Shadow Masanaga the Spear-Bearer

Enemies: Lone Shadow Masanaga the Spear-Bearer and summoned hunting dogs

Threats: High-posture kick strings, venom-coated slashes, jump-stomp attacks, thrust kicks, and whistle-summoned hounds

Weaknesses and resistances: Mikiri Counter against kick thrusts; Finger Whistle to turn hounds or Firecrackers to disperse them

Tactics: Clear the bridge guards, lure him to summon dogs, flee across the bridge to drop aggro, sneak back for a stealth deathblow on his first health bar, then deflect sword combos and Mikiri Counter his thrust kick

Rewards: Prayer Bead

Juzou the Drunkard

Enemies: Juzou the Drunkard and one allied Lone Shadow shinobi

Threats: Wide nodachi sweeps, poisonous breath sprays, blade poisoning, and rapid support attacks from his ninja ally

Weaknesses and resistances: Stealth backstab on the ally; Puppet Ninjutsu

Tactics: Use stealth and Gachiin's Sugar to assassinate perimeter bandits, lure out and eliminate the Lone Shadow ally (or turn him with Puppeteer Ninjutsu), break line of sight until Juzou resets, stealth deathblow Juzou's first node, and dodge his heavy slams to punish his flanks

Rewards: Prayer Bead, Heavy Coin Purse

Owl (Father)

Enemies: Owl (Father)

Threats: Firecracker-slash combos, sweeping perilous slashes, shadowfall thrusts, jumping overhead slams, spirit owl teleportation ambushes, and flaming owl projectile charges

Weaknesses and resistances: Mortal Draw during recovery windows, Mikiri Counter on thrusts, jumping over low sweep/flaming owl attacks

Tactics: Stay aggressive to limit posture recovery; dodge forward-right through his firecracker toss to strike his side; leap over the burning spirit owl and immediately ready a Mikiri Counter for his incoming thrust; sprint away when he vanishes into his glowing spirit owl to evade his drop-strike
