Following the Divine Dragon's defeat, the Interior Ministry launches a full-scale assault that sets the Ashina Outskirts ablaze. Wolf must backtrack through the war-torn landscape from the Old Grave bridge back toward the Outskirts Wall. Touching the burning Sculptor's Idol at the Outskirts Wall - Gate Path teleports Wolf to the Flames of Hatred battlefield to confront the Demon of Hatred.

Tactics: Clear the surrounding riflemen quietly, drop down for a backstab deathblow to remove his first health node, then rip off his armor using the Loaded Spear before deflecting his heavy swings

Threats: High-damage sweep perilous attacks, fiery arm whips, falling body slams, leaping fire meteors, and a flaming ring arena entrapment

Weaknesses and resistances: Malcontent (stuns him up to 3 times), Suzaku's Lotus Umbrella (blocks fire slams and projectiles)

Tactics: Hug his stomping legs and flank toward his right flank, jump over his unblockable arm charges, deploy Suzaku's Lotus Umbrella when he launches fire explosions, and trigger Malcontent during phase 3 to burst his posture
