Mass Effect 1 (Legendary Edition) guide · First arrival after Eden Prime

Commander Shepard arrives at the Citadel to present evidence of Saren Arterius's treason to the Citadel Council. You must navigate the Presidium and Wards to track down leads, recruit new squadmates, and uncover proof of Saren's involvement with the Geth. Once the evidence is presented to the Council, Shepard is inducted as the first human Spectre and given command of the SSV Normandy.

The "Keepers" side assignment can be initiated by speaking to Chorban or Jahleed, requiring you to scan 21 mysterious Keeper aliens scattered across the Presidium, Wards, and Embassies for experience and credits.Interacting with the glowing sphere in the Consort's Chambers will trigger a text-based alien ruin encounter much later in the game, provided you obtain the Trinket from the Consort after completing her task.

Expat: Sells miscellaneous gear, upgrades, and manufacturer licenses from a stall in the Upper Wards

Tips

Utilize the rapid transit terminals scattered throughout the Citadel to instantly fast-travel between the Presidium, Wards, and Normandy Dock.
Visit the Med Clinic early to recruit Dr. Liara T'Soni's potential ally Dr. Michel into offering a permanent store discount if you resolve her blackmailer quest peacefully or via persuasion.
Do not rush directly to Fist in Chora's Den; explore first to pick up Garrus at the Med Clinic and Wrex at C-Sec Academy to unlock both companions smoothly.
