Players must navigate rocky cliffs, crystalline caves, and mako-infused paths while using Aerith and Tifa's synergy skills to cross chasms and scale ledges. The ascent culminates at the summit near the Mt. Nibel reactor, setting up confrontations with local monsters and boss encounters.
