Gongaga Reactor
Cloud and the party navigate the flooded interior and ruins of the Gongaga Mako Reactor to pursue the Turks and investigate Shinra's weapon development. You must solve environmental power routing puzzles and navigate flooded chambers using platforms and switches. The infiltration culminates in major storyline confrontations against Scarlet's forces and a mutated Specimen boss.

- Equipping Ice Materia linked to Elemental or standard offensive magic across multiple party members is crucial for the major combat encounters inside this reactor.
- When encountering unpowered blast doors, search the immediate vicinity for yellow-wheeled power cables or generators that need to be dragged and plugged into matching sockets.
- Switching control to Tifa or Cloud allows you to quickly pressure the Specimen H1024 once its elemental barrier drops during its power collection phases.
